Our method of coaching is to guide individuals towards their own solutions. Where appropriate, we adopt a mentoring/training approach to input skills or experience which may help the coachee in progressing towards achieving agreed upon objectives.
We apply a number of tools and experiences to our coaching and facilitation work, including being an accredited facilitator of the Clarity 4D™ profile and the Strength Deployment Inventory (Level 2). We provide a varied, client-centred approach, which is strongly outcome-based, built on our business experience working with functional and account teams within corporates and non-profit organisations. “Her coaching was expertly tailored to the rapid pace of my working environment, the strengths and shortcomings of my personality and my a-typical career goals.”(Senior Manager, subsequently promoted to Technical Director)
We have been instrumental in helping to launch the concept of transition coaching as it applies during the period of maternity, to the South African marketplace. We work one-on-one (or in small workshops) with women before, during and after maternity leave to assist them in maximising work/life integration and ensuring that their vital skills are not lost to the workplace.

Karen was the perfect coach in that she is professional, engenders a sense of trust and confidence, is empathetic, gently navigated our discussions to areas of significance and purpose, offers prudent and frank advice, is genuinely concerned about our welfare and empowered us in ways we could not have achieved on our own.”
Wanya, Senior Manager, Professional Services Firm
Karen was a fantastic coach and really assisted me in opening up and sharing what’s on my heart. Was so refreshing sharing my thoughts, fears, victories and concerns with someone who is completely objective in this situation. She was very sensitive to overstepping the mark, but yet was able to challenge me where needed and gave brilliant advice.
Cynthia Schweer-Rayner, Socio-entrepreneur
I was initially sceptical about career coaching, but re-entry into the workforce after my second maternity leave proved more difficult than I imagined. Karen’s empathy and skillful listening has provided me with an excellent foundation for both personal and career growth. Through her coaching, I was able to connect the dots and create clarity, where independently I would still be “spinning my wheels.” I now have a true sense of where I am headed, and a plan to take me there. My experience has made me an advocate of coaching, and a strong supporter of Karen’s work. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Karen has been a business partner through-out a very challenging departmental realignment process. Her facilitation skills are at an expert level and the process would not have been as successful without the invaluable support provided by Karen. I can recommend Karen as a facilitator and coach.”
